Summer Scribbles

$199.00

It is time. This summer is your season. You’re going to finally write down those life stories rattling around in you. Now, you’re adding a layer of accountability.
This class meets four weeks via Zoom, with prompts to guide our writing throughout the week. It is open to writers of any level. We will be working in the creative nonfiction/memoir space.

You can expect:
- 4 weeks of lively lessons with your instructor, Kendra Stanton Lee

DATES: Wednesdays 7:30-8:45p June 25, July 2, July 9, July 16
- 4 weeks of prompts to help you generate new writing or revisit old writing
- 4 weeks of sharing with other writers and learning lessons in craft, style, substance

What SUMMER SCRIBBLES is not:
- A class that requires extensive reading
- A class that requires fiction
- A class that is self-paced (each week has its own assignment, but it will not be possible for the instructor to respond to late assignments).

All you will need is access to the internet, e-mail, and a word processing program (e-mail is fine—just only typed and not handwritten pieces can be responded to).

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
Kendra Stanton Lee is a teacher and writer based in Boston. Her essays and reporting have appeared in The Washington Post, Newsweek, Slate, The Boston Globe, and many others. She holds an MLA in Extension Studies - Journalism from Harvard University.
